Training Sessions and "Topic"


When setting up a new training session in TTAM, there is no field for "Topic". However, when one views the saved session, at the bottom of the page is a field marked "Topic" and this is empty. It would be excellent if we could designate the topic for each session, especially since we are trying to create trainings with descriptions that can be headings for many future sessions of the training. Setting the topic would also be useful for multiple session or series trainings. Am I missing a step in setting the topic?

Thanks for the question about the training search results on the TTAM trainer/trainee portal! Topic is a field that can be added when creating a multi date session type as each session may cover a different topic. For example, a 2 session First Aid/CPR training may cover First Aid during the first session and CPR during the second. When entering the multiple session dates, times and locations, each entry has a field for the Topic. It's assumed the topic is not needed for single date sessions and an enhancement could be used for the display of this information (hide the Topic field for single date sessions).
