OPS Profile

Online-Provider-Services

Hello- Our statewide database still shows ten OPS profiles set up prior to the merges. Can you advise how best to proceed? Should I delete the profiles that were set up in the nine databases that merged into one, and keep that tenth one? How will I know which one to keep?

ANSWER

Removing unused profiles will help reduce any confusion in the future. The OPS Administrator has a "Remove" action for each profile that can be used.

To identify any profiles currently in use, navigate to Administration in OPS then select Provider Profile Management. Search for each profile. Any providers listed during a search are connected to that profile and you may first want to remove providers from any profile you want to remove. This step is not required (you can remove a profile with connected providers) but is best practice.

Removing a profile does not remove the history of that profile so you will continue to see any approved items assosicated with deleted profiles when searching.

Can I migrate providers to one profile?

There is not a bulk migration however there is a bulk removal and a bulk addition; it will be a two step process.
