Search for Training

Training-Tracking

Apparently in the Trainee portal, a trainee can search for training by Training Content Hierarchy and register for training anywhere in the country. We had a trainee registr for a training in Los Angeles without realizing that the training was not in our state. Is it possible to block that function so that this does not happen again?

Thank you for posting this question. The ability to search on any training offered was an intentional feature. This allows trainees to register for trainings offered by other agencies and in bordering states. Though you have a statewide database, you also may have providers/programs that live outside your state that attend your trainings. If you were to give only access to your trainings to your state, others from neighboring areas (such as Maine) would not be able to register.

The trainee can filter by state or nationwide. This typically defaults to their home state, however, they have the ability to choose another or all.

We are exploring ways to limit the content filter to match the default state listings.
