Create OPS access for a Provider

If your provider is not found in a search, click on Create New Provider Access in the top right corner of the results screen. (For more information about search for a provider record,See "Provider Profile Management")

 

After clicking on Create New Provider Access, you will again come to a search screen. This search will look through all of the providers in your NACCRRAware database.

  1. Enter desired search criteria, change sort order and items per page if desired, and click on Search. (NOTE: If the provider has already been given access to an OPS profile you will get an error message to that effect. Conduct a new search to find the Provider's record.)
  2. Providers meeting your search criteria will display in the results list.
  3. Select the desired provider or providers by clicking in the check box on the left of that record. Multiple Providers can be selected. Clicking on the box in the left hand column of the heading row will select all of the providers (for that screen only).
  4. Select the Profile you want to assign to the Provider.
  5. Click on the Allow Access button.
  6. Click OK on the confirmation popup to confirm your selections or Cancel to make changes.
  7. The provider will receive an email containing the URL and login information and your screen will display confirmation that the email was sent. If you select only one provider, you can customize the email. (See next section.)

 

Customizing Provider Profile Access Email
If you would like to customize the E-mail containing the provider's URL and login information then you can select that option when linking an individual provider to a profile. However, you cannot customize emails to multiple providers.

  1. Search for and select the Provider you want to add. Click in the checkbox beside the Provider's name.
  2. Click in the checkbox beside "Customize Email." 
  3. Select the Profile you are assigning the provider.
  4. Click on Allow Access.



  5. An email form will open. Revise the subject and message as desired and click on Send Email.



  6. The Provider will receive an email with your message and access information for logging in to the OPS Provider Portal.
