OPS Profile Configuration Overview




The screens that display in the OPS Provider Portal are based on Profiles you develop in this section. Profiles give you the option to activate different sets of screen configurations based on what type of update you may need to do at a given time or with a certain group of providers.

  • For example: Your quarterly updates may be different from your annual updates, or perhaps you are conducting a rate survey and want only rate-related fields updated. You can create different profiles to address the variations needed for those updates.
  • We recommend you start with one Profile that includes all the fields you want providers to update, and create more profiles as you better understand the process, if desired.


Select Profile from the Administration dropdown menu. The Profile List screen opens.

Profile List

The Profile List screen displays a list of the Profiles your agency has configured. The columns are: Last Updated, Profile Name, Status, Created Date, and Actions. There is also a Create New Profile link at the top right.


On this screen you have the following options:

Profile Name link:  Opens the Profile settings in read only mode. (This is the same as the View icon)
Preview Profile icon Preview the Profile to view it as the Provider will see it. (See "Profile Preview")
View Profile icon Opens the Profile settings for viewing. (same as clicking on the Profile Name)
Copy Profile icon Copies the Profile settings to create a new Profile based on the copied Profile.
Edit Profile icon Opens the Profile settings for editing.
Delete Profile icon Delete the profile.
Remove Selected button To delete multiple Profiles, check the box beside the ones you want to delete and click the Remove Selected button at the bottom.
Create New Profile link To create a new profile, click on the link in the top, right corner.


How Profile Pages relate to the Provider Portal

It is easier to grasp how the Profile Pages work if you see where it displays on the Provider's side of OPS, The Provider OPS Portal. The layout will differ based on the number of pages you set up and what you choose for Page Names, Sections, and Fields but the basic layout is as follows:

When a provider clicks on a page name, it will open a screen to the right displaying the fields you have chosen for that page. They then review the information, make any necessary changes, and submit it.
